how do you convert videos for your iPod?

i just got the new ipod touch, which is awesome btw, and i added some videos using videora. it sort of worked, but there's "superpixels" where there are visible boxes of color. usually they fit in with the video but sometimes they're completely opaque and ruin whatever it is your watching. is there a better way to convert?
 
I use a program called SUPER to convert all my videos. It's free and works great.Link. You have to go through about three pages to actually get to the download but it's worth.
