How Do You Finish Up Internet Downloads?

I try and download things off the internet. Eg. programs that I need (eg. MSN messenger the new one, since I"m using te old one).

So I try and download programs, but they won't finish downloading. They all just stop at a random percentage. eg. 55%, 94%, 10%, 13%, etc.

They won't finish downloading for some reason.

I tried to download internet download manager (as adviced by a friend), but the download for that just stops at random percentages, too!

What would you do in this situation?

I can still load pages of course.

I have about 30% free space TOTAL.

Don't know if that's good or bad. That's around 25-35 GB of space for this computer from what I recall when checking it earlier today.

Download FireFox on another computer, and burn it to a CD or transfer it over the network. See if Firefox does that...
