thats Microsoft Messenger.

To remove MSN Messenger, got to Start > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs > Remove MSN Messenger

Weird... There are two messenger services, Microsoft Messenger and MSN Messenger. MSN Messenger doesnt come on your computer, and to remove it you can select it from the add/remove programs menu.

Microsoft messenger is a different story, if thatts what you have, follow the directions in the link kof posted.

Well I just removed whatever Omega posted info for ;) I beleive for MSN Messenger, I litterly just went into program files and deleted the files for it.

thats the same exact thing that the other guy said, and it only partly removes it, your still able to log into it, and hotmail automatically opens it back up.
