How do you hook up an xbox 360 to a computer monitor?

My dad offered to buy me a monitor, so I'm wondering if it's possible to hook up the xbox 360 to a monitor. I know the 360 has component output (maybe?) but I haven't seen any monitors with component in. Are there any component to DVI converters, or something like that? And if so, are they expensive?

Or get a cheap TV tuner and run the video through the card, through your computer and then to your monitor.

Okay, gracias por el ayudo. I think I'll probably use the converter.

As to the other idea, how exactly do I hook up the xbox to the TV tuner? Don't those just go inside the computer, and not provide any extra ports? Please elaborate.

dont do what PohTayToez says.. you will only get 800by600 res and the picture quality will be really BAD! your best off getting a monitor with vga input. which will give you 720p 1080i/p! get a monitor with 1680by1050 res or higher

I can only comment that when I tried hooking up my console through my TV tuner it totally sucked, The picture quality was horrible...
