How do you make more system restore points?

I was looking at my system restore points while making a change on my computer and noticed I only have 2 points listed. I've made many other restore points in the past few months as does a few programs automatically. Is there a way to create more than 2 restore points. I have a 120 GB HDD. I only use about 20 GB of the 120. Thanks for any help in advance

Man, I accidentally restored my computer to it's original state back when I loaded windows, once! I guess you've not changed any settings for your computer, because all my computers keep quite a few restore points...

I've made quite a few changes in my system over the almost 4 years I've had this computer. I believe I should have a lot more than 2 restore points. I can't go back any months from the restore window. I checked and it is set to the maximun 12% of allowcated disk space for restore. I'm trying to figure out why I only see 2 points. The box for "turn off system restore on all drives" is unchecked as well. Something is wrong I just don't know what. I'm hoping someone with a little expertise can help.
