I have a Toshiba SatelitePro 430cdt lap top with a fan that doesn't work. I have a new fan but can't figure out how to get the case opened so that I can get at the fan. Found out that the keyboard needs to come out to expose some more screws.
Pop all the scews and tabs and such (remember where they go!) ... for most laptops it'll be behind the keyboard (upside-down ish)... dont forget to use some form of thermal grease if applicable
