RivaTuner is a nice clean interface to do it with. Risks? Fried card. How would you overclock a NVIDIA 5500FX 256 MB. Are there any risks to overclocking it?
I believe that only works for cards featuring temp sensors....if you have the latest nvidia drivers you should be able to overclock using the video properties and selecting available clock speeds for both the core and memory modules...
actually its essentially coolbits enabled drivers supplied from the company, they just add the overclock tab to a different placeI believe that only works for cards featuring temp sensors....
Coolbits on older cards introduces one type of OCing interface, newer cards (with temp sensors) have another (more user friendly) tab for OCing with options like "AUtomatic Overclocking" and crap like thatactually its essentially coolbits enabled drivers supplied from the company, they just add the overclock tab to a different place
