how do you overclock

use the coolbits regestry tweet, a google search will find the entries you need to add. It's pretty safe soft OCing videocards

if you have the latest nvidia drivers you should be able to overclock using the video properties and selecting available clock speeds for both the core and memory modules...

.....i may be wrong on this but i remember that my Xtasy GeForce 3 Ti500 could be overclocked this way...i havent tried it on my Evga GeForce 5200 Ultra, and im at school or i would check.......

RivaTuner is a nice clean interface to do it with. Risks? Fried card.

I believe that only works for cards featuring temp sensors....

actually its essentially coolbits enabled drivers supplied from the company, they just add the overclock tab to a different place

Coolbits on older cards introduces one type of OCing interface, newer cards (with temp sensors) have another (more user friendly) tab for OCing with options like "AUtomatic Overclocking" and crap like that :)
