So im looking at some computer cases and this 1 caught my eye

The NZXT Gamma classic

http://www.nzxt.com/new/products/classic_series/gamma

Now watching videos on this, Like this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SCTK_7miEoE

The front of the case where the power button is can be removed, If you watch the video a t 1:06 you'll see

But then this started to make me curious as how do computers turn on? where the button is when you press it does a magical rainbow tell the PSU to turn it on? Jk but on a serious note though how?

Planning on buying this case but with the front of it removeable it worries me that maybe when i try to remove it i do it to hard and end up pulling out the wires that turns it on

Sorry for the newbie question its just im curious

When you press the power button it connects two jumpers on your motherboard and shorts out a circuit on your powersupply. This essentially tells your powersupply to turn on.

There 2 small wires from the power button with little cable plug ins on them. They connect to the motherbaord. They are long enought to remove with front panel, but perhaps not long enough to set the panel aside.

If you look real close in the video at about 1:08, you can actually see the wires for the switches. Also notice that the right side of the bezel is never moved far from right side of the frame.

One way they could have made the front bezel removable without attached wires is to have the switches mounted to the front of the frame and then have buttons on the bezel that when pressed actually push the switches mounted on the frame.
