Oh thanks for that, i thought they were socket 478 since thats what it says on newegg. But now that i look at the motherboards it does say 479.34erd said:No, newegg is wrong, its socket 479, not 478. You need an adopter module made by ASUS for it to work with certain socket 478 boards, and that just works with pentium M. All the socket 479 boards on newegg are also only for pentium M, there are no yonah (core duo) boards out yet.
