I am starting a new build, my first one, and I have just finished picking out the components for it, some of which I will take of my old PC.

I would be grateful if anyone could take a look through it and let me know if they can see any problems with it.

why do you need 8gb RAM? you running a space station on that computer or something? 4GB is more than enough, but it's your choice. everything looks sweet. you'll be good with that CPU, i have it. it performs exactly the same as my E4500 did OC'ed to 3ghz.

If you are going to get a 4670 1GB, get the HIS model with the IceQ cooler. my brother has one and it is dead silent.

I originally ordered 4GB but the seller that I bought it from messed up the order in various ways and I ended up with 8GB. The green highlights are parts that I need to buy to make the new build, as such I don't need a graphics card. Good to hear the HIS model is quiet, I can recommend the Gigabyte as well.

I am going to order the parts tomorrow, so I welcome any more comments from anyone, even if its just to say the parts look good to put my mind at ease!
