yea sorry its another one of these...
Im rebuilding/upgrading a relatively old computer and im looking to spend about $1000 for all the major parts to make it run well again. Basically I would just like someone to double check my parts and any suggestions to make it run better or how I can save a little money would be appreciated as well. Overall my two biggest concerns are for it to run windows 7(Whenever it comes out) and for it to run games well preferably on max settings. So heres what ive got so far...

MOBO...$292
EVGA E758-A1 3-Way SLI (x16/x16/x8) LGA 1366 Intel X58 ATX

(Is this mobo really necessary or is there a cheaper alternative I can use?)

Vid Card... $205
EVGA 896-P3-1257-AR GeForce GTX 260 Core 216 Superclocked Edition
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130433

RAM... $55
G.SKILL 3GB (3 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666) Triple Channel Kit
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231222

CPU... $280
Intel Core i7 920 Nehalem 2.66GHz 4 x 256KB L2 Cache 8MB L3 Cache LGA 1366 130W Quad-Core Processor
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819115202

Case... $80
COOLER MASTER RC-690-KKN1-GP Black SECC/ ABS ATX Mid Tower

Well if you dont plan on running tri-sli you really dont need that motherboard

I would suggest something like foxconn bloodrage http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813186163

or even gigabyte ga-ex58-ud3r http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128375

Im using the gigabyte one and its great. If you dont plan on using 12gb of ram you should really consider getting it. It overclocks pretty well.

Question to bomberboysk ( since i cant send pm's ): Have you every used zipzoomfly.com ? Are they reliable ? Because i see they have some good deals there :P
