how far can i get a quad 2.4 to oc

Its different for everyone/every situation...two people with the same exact setup right next to each other might have drastically different results. It depends on everything from cooling to RAM to mobo to graphics card, etc

That being said, if you have a Q6600 I assume the other parts aren't crap...with only slight adjustments to the vCore and some skill you could probably get it well over 3ghz
