i have a amd 3200 with a master cooler heatsink (i dont kno which model, but its pretty loud) anyway rite now my comp is overclocked at 2.18ghz using the bios. but i used gigabyte easy tune 5 to overclock to a 9.5 multiplier and 232 fsb= 2.204 ghz (something like that) if i go higher with easy tune,my computer totally freezes. easy tune says i'm at 27 degress celcius. i haven't tried going higher in bios tho.

(also in easy tune and in bios it says that the system fan isn't running only the cpu fan. whats the system fan(sorry for the noob question))

First, why are you lowering the mutliplier?

You should keep the multiplier at stock, and raise the FSB. Then once it becomes unstable, you should lower the HTT multiplier as well as set a memory divider (lower it to 166Mhz). You may also need to raise the voltage.

dont use easy tune...
use the bios.
i'd say it should be fairly easy to get to 2.4ghz with any single core... maybe even 2.6ghz with enough cooling.
some have gotten to 3ghz on air with 3700+ chips.
