Any of you oc corsair value ram? I have my 3000+ running at 2.25 ghz, at just 1.39 volts, (1.43 in the bios vid+special vid). If I raise the fsb any more it becomes unstable, but I dont know if I should raise the voltage to this cheap ram.

BTW, I dont have heatspreaders or anything like that on the ram. Just decent airflow through the case.

are you sure your vcore is 1.39?
What is your core clock, what is your ram spec, what is your ram voltage currently

Well, cpuz and mbm5 both say its 1.39. In bios I think its 1.3 + 110%. Cpu is at 250 x 9.0.
Not sure what ram spec means, but the timings are 2.5, 3, 3, 7.
According to mbm5, DRAM is 2.62 volts. It should be on auto in the bios, I havnt changed it.

The vcore + vid is 1.39

I have the corsair valueselect and yes it is cheap. When i overclocked my cpu, it became unstable at a small overclock and it seemed to me it was the ram, and it was. You have to put a divider in between the ram and cpu, so that the ram doesnt overlcock as much as the cpu does. You can do this in the bios, search about it for more information,

Jack it :) As long as it's less than 2.85v then you dont have to worry about much

Yeah you're fine to bump the Vdimm
