hey i was wondering how fast of an internet speed would i need to be able to play the good games online??were getting the 1500Kbs download speed. would that be fast enoughto play online without hassle?

If its not Dial-up, you should be fine. Anything over 1000kbps should be sufficient.
 
Generally as well for games a ping of about 150ms is too high and in the case of some Steam games you'll be booted off if your ping exceeds this.
 
unless he is using satellite anything that gives him a 1500kb/s download speed should have decent ping
 
You should be good to play online games. If you have some time do a speed test and post your results just to see where it says your at. I personally do not believe they work because I can do a few test and get different results each time and after a certain amount of tests I get the same results. I think they just give you a broad range of where your at.
 
well i havent got the 1500KPS yet they put it on in six weeks.. but my ping is like 192.. thats bad isnt it? how do i get it lowerd??
 
You cant change your ping unless you have other programs hogging your internet close them down if so. Alternitavly you could move house closer to the server but I doubt that thats an option.Or at least a reasonable one.And 192 isnt bad its just not good. I find anything under 200 works fine.

EDIT:Some one tell me if im wrong I would like the answer too.
