How good is this power supply?

Thats a great price, that psu usually sells for $80-$90 usd. That will be a grood match for a 5770 and AMD quad.

As far as quality goes, that's a great unit. It's not top of the line like a Seasonic X or Antec Signature, but it's still solid as a rock and quite a bit better than what most people have. Definitely a steal for that price.

Great unit, great company, great price... jump on it! Antec isn't known for the best PSUs anywhere, but they're definitely fantastic quality!

I mean antec isn't seasonic or pc power and cooling.

Seasonic make some of Corsair's units, and the some of the Antec units stand up to the Corsair and SeaSonic units quite well. Higher end, the SeaSonic units are much better, I agree, however for the prices you are getting a hell of a unit that is just as good as your SeaSonic units.

And PC P&C make good units, not great. Their newer units aren't as good as their older ones. They did a Corsair (or rather Corsair did a PC P&C because they did it after) and built up their rep with outstanding units, just to go and cheap out and ride off their earlier success

The MK II are ok units. But OCZ using Sirfa Electronics Co instead of Seasonic, trying to save a few bucks didnt go over well. Hope the Silencer is back for good. Now if they would only come out with a modular unit.

Hopefully it is. I used to really like PC P&C before they crapped out on their units, will have to have a look for some test results of their newer units. I don't see the appeal of modular though, unless you have a small case or one with poor cable management

Wasn't really a PCP&C (originally) at fault in my opinion, PCP&C was acquired by OCZ (after the release of the original, and good, silencers), who is known quite well for making stuff pretty cheaply (Sirtec and FSP built Modxstreams/stealthxstreams/ GameXStreams, not really the best DDR3, etc. Their SSD's are a notable exception to this though, and are of great quality.) And yeah, it depends what units you are referring to. The Original silencers were, and still are Excellent units. The Mk. II's were far overpriced for what you got, basically Corsair AX pricing for a unit outclassed by the TX.

Also, Scott, Antec has a few seasonic built units, and the TP New lineup is among those built by Seasonic Electronics (very similar to the M12D platform used on the XFX units and the TXv2 lineup from Corsair). So in a sense, antec actually "is" Seasonic:P
