I don't know exactly what you want to know, what components to upgrade? Overall the computer is pretty good, Vista should be upgraded to windows 8. The biggest thing is upgrading RAM. 2 GB is very low.

if it does what you want your good to go.
welcome to computerforum.
I would not spend any money on it.

Man, vista is getting old. It has nothing to do with problems, I think vista was a fine OS. But it's old. And I certainly think 2 GB of ram is bottlenecking a 660.

yeah ive noticed that, ive tried newegg, but the prices just add up to SOO much. its not exactly raining money for a new motherboard CPU and ram. Know any website i could get stuff for cheaper?

You could toss one or two of these in your computer assuming you have more RAM slots, I think that board has 4 but not positive. I assume you currently have two 1GB sticks in there already.

Your CPU is kind of slow too but if it works for you then great. :) The socket is old and dead and not worth putting money in to. A RAM upgrade would probably do you some good though.

I've had good luck buying used ram on amazon, usually a lot better prices, and I think you missed the boat on windows 8, if you were going to do it you should have done it when it was $40, probably not worth it now in my opinion.

It's a decent mid grade computer...I upgraded from a similar system to 4gb ram and a phenom X4 2.3 or something like that and it's a fine system now :)...You're looking at putting a bit into it at that point though which I wouldn't consider...If it's fast enough for you then keep goin' at it! If not then i would consider upgrading systems, not components...I found DDR2 and older computer products to be even more expensive then the new stuff cuz no1 makes it

also if you're serious about upgrading your ram, I may have some sticks that I could part with that are ddr2...I'll have to talk to my dad though cuz they were a birthday present to him and his computer is no longer running cuz I went to college and he took mine -.-
