How hard is it to Watercool?

Basically says it in the tittle. How hard is it to watercool a cpu and gpu? Should I worry about the nortbridge? What would You recommend? And how risky is it and room for error?
 
i would advise against it, the blocks for your rig would probably run somewhere near $270 probably close to another $200 to cool your motherboard(there isn't anything other than fullcover for it) a pump would be 60 dollars, radiators would probably be $120(two swiftech 360 rads) 6 yate loons would be 40 dollars, barbs+hose clamps would be $6 dollars per block/radiator, so that would somewhere around $700 when you get all set and done if you cooled your motherboard, and with the gtx 295, its fairly easy to screw up with the waterblock install(shorts) in which case you wouldn't have warrenty, and as long as you leak test, there isn't much chance of a leak, but i really wouldn't reccommend it anyway

I have my CPU watercooled and it cost me about $100 for a cheap watercooling kit. It cools just as good as my old XP-120 did (its much quieter though) so if you are going to watercool, you would be spending a good deal to get the benefits.
 
a good watercooling kit for you could go for $400. The first post $700 is only if you want a million radiators and the absolute BEST quality products. $400 is the real price if you are willing to spend that much it will bring the cpu temp down prob by like 10c considering you already have a tuniq tower 120 wich is already a very good cooler, now if you want better performance and had a crap cpu cooler atm, $300 would be a general estimate. The chance of error is very low and i wouldn't worry about it. It's also pretty easy if you know where to put the radiators :). Keep in mind that watercooling the GPU voids the warranty. I dont mind doing it to the cpu becuase something rarely goes wrong with a cpu. And in the first post, how the hell will you fit two swiftech 360 rads wtf? Thats like six damn radiotors. You only really need 1 swiftech 360. Theres anew cool product which im looking to get for my antec 1200 heres the link:http://www.antec.com/Believe_it/product.php?id=ODM3 if you get that you only need a single radiator.

that radiator is aluminum, which when used with copper waterblocks creats corrosion, there is no way to stop it, and thats 200mm of surface area compared to 720mm on the two 360mm radiators, and my suggestion, thats not six radiators, thats six fans, and if you get the right case, its easy to fit two, three, or even five 360mm radiators
