How hard is replacing a Laptop Screen?

I am expirenced in build computers, but have not really messed with laptops. How hard is it to replace a screen? I don't have the exact model, but it's a Samsung series 3.

It's easy. Just pull the LCD out and stick the model number in ebay.

How hard to put one back in? And you work on comps daily, and I'm a bigginer. Will I have a big risk of breaking anthing?

Changing a laptop screen is pretty easy, just daunting to try it the first time, there are plenty of video tutorials on you tube to give you an idea.

You gently remove the bezel round the screen, the screen itself is usually only held in by a couple of screws, remove a couple of ribbon cables, then lift the screen out.

To re fit just do in reverse order.

Just a heads up, there are some laptops which require near complete disassembly to replace the screen. Some G series HPs are like that and all Macbooks.

Most are pretty easy though. If you can get the bezel off without removing anything else then it shouldn't give you any trouble.

I do them all the time, the newer one's are easy. the older one's can be a problem sometimes..just be careful on removing the bezel, there is normally 3 to 4 screws /side. then you just unhook the ribbon connection...
