You can go all the way up to 1.55v but I am sure you will not need that.
I have my i7 920 oc'd to 3.9ghz with a 195 bclk. The CPU voltage is 1.45 volts. I have played around alot with this and this seems to be the best oc for mine regarding heat and voltage. I can hit well into the 4ghz+ but it takes 1.55+ and my temps start getting in the 80's. Right now under max load on the 8 threads I hit around 64 to 66. Your i7 might not even need as many volts as mine does.
Also you shouldn't try pushing your ram that much. Try backing off on that as well to help your oc. I hope this helps, I am new to these forums but been working with computers for about 8 years.
