on the saphire card why does it have 2 sli connecter thing and the card dosnt come with it

what card does the saphire x1950gt 512mb compare to on nvidias sinde i was thinking equal to geforce 7950gt

I would have went with the 7950GT. But your current configuration looks good enough. I wish I could afford a dual graphics card system. :( I'm stuck with a 7900GT.

mm, im gonnna us this alot for gaming but on the other hand i am gonna use it for videos and that stuff

i herd this but i dont know if it is true nvidia has better preformance over ati but ati have better graphics results

The X1K series was ripped to shreds by Nvidia's 7 series graphics card. I don't know how the X2K series stack up against the 8 series though.

Well apparently, the Nvidia 8 series rips the ATI 2k series... But I guess that well need Direct X 10 games to come out first to know the true result

I would look into the motherboard I have, the Asus P5K Deluxe, which goes for $220.

It uses Intel's brand new chipset the P35. Or if you wanted to spend a bit more money, you can go with the P5K3, which supports both DDR2 and DDR3.

i might just go with 680i the ggabyte crossfire board looks really good but tell me if this is correct, the 2 ethernets on the back of the nforve 680i (dual ethernet) does that mean just 2x internet speed or like i ca conect a ethernet from my computer to my friends

that or to 2 networks.

because i have a 800dollar range budget on just gfx-memory-hardrive-processor-motherboard

i alredy have my drives vista and case and psu

i plan on when i get more money add another one on

What is better preformance-results
2x1950 512mb in crossfire
2x 7900gs-256-512
