How is this for a 1st time gaming build?

I feel like you can get alot more with $700. With* an operating system my total is at $847, with much higher specs.

If you're building a gaming computer i'd go with a stronger setup, here is what was recommended to me in another thread. Let me note there are cheaper motherboards that would also be good.

I think you can get more up to date tech.
What games will it play?
What country are you in so we know where you can buy from?
Do you already have monitor/keyboard/mouse/OS?

Sorry, forgot to mention that. I'm in the US, and I already have the peripherals (what Benny Boy mentioned). I'm looking to play relatively recent games, specifically like Resident Evil 5 and Fallout 3. I'd honestly prefer to keep the price cap close to $600 or $650, but I can go up to a little over $700.

The OS installation disc I have is Windows 7, by the way. Forgot to mention that as well.
