lovely?

hi my friend wanted upgradeability down the road, and since intel keeps changing their chipsets, i didnt feel comfortable giving him short term power and long term stress, so an am2+ board seems the most logical choice, being as they have 4 pci-e 2.0 slots and will be compatible with future am3 processors.

fair enough?

i was looking into this motherboard, : MSI platinum am2+ does it seem like a good board for the price? for now he'll pair two 3870's onto it which sounds great because later on he can add another, then another as needed lol

If he currently got AMD CPU and prepare to Crossfire, this is the board he need. (Although I like gigabyte. it only got 2xPCI-E...)
If it is a new build, than go for Intel.
