I dont know, i got my 19in wide for 184 bucks, that sounds like a lot more for another inch.
I think it is harder to find a decent monitor with those specs at much lower price. Was your screen on sale? The price range of $300-$400 seems reasonable to me.
I do not agree. about 1 1/2 years ago I would have though. I game on my 8ms Viewsonic and it is great! I used to own the 3ms viewsonic VX92 and it was great for gaming also, the blacks where not black enough for me so I gave it to the wife and bought the 8ms VP930b.If you are a gamer I wouldn’t buy LCD, I was just in the market for a LCD before I bought my 24" Sony widescreen. What I was reading from numerous sites was the LCD's just aren’t fast enough yet to keep up with the high FPS games. Now if you’re not a gamer it would be perfect.
I'm all for that, I just thought it was more helpful for you to explain why they are no good for gaming when you say it so definite. It would seem your experience is limited to one display where others have experience with several. It is very true that you need a little knowledge when buying an LCD, many can be lemons in the gaming department.I thought he may like input from the experience of severval people.
