how is via chipset??

how is via chipset?? is it good? what is your command about it?
and sis too! what is your command about it?
Which ones??? Both via and sis make craploads of chipsets

Lol

I like VIA chipsets cause I have a motherboard with it. I heard that SIS chipsets have more compatibility issues. As you may know the Nforce chipsets from Nvidia are also really good. However, I think it's silly to try and say one is crap or that one is much better.

JAN :D

i mean generally?
are they all crap?
What kinda question is that??? If they were all crap then Via would be out of business!

SiS *do* have compatabilty and performance issues. :P And the exception to the nForce rule is the nForce3-150

I think it's silly to try and say one is crap or that one is much better.
Agreedg

It depends on the platform youve got in mind and how old the platform is. Like ive said before, it helps if you make it easy for us to answer your questions by giving a few details

I dont think a recent SiS chipset exists their last major chipset was found on boards circa A7S333. The applicable Via chipset would be the KT400 and derivatives although you're best off with a nForce2 setup for AthlonsXPs
