How long does ur laptop battery last?

Mine could only last for 2 hours after it is fully charged, but the on the futureshop site it says it last approximately 4 hours. by the way my laptop is Sony 15.4" VAIO Intel Core 2 Duo T5800 2.0GHz Laptop.

They never last as long as they say they will. Mine lasts about 1.5 hours.

I get 5 hours on my 9 cell with my Vostro 1000 laptop, not enough for a flight to the UK =( gives me around 3 hours with only my MP3 and the planes personal TVs.

My Dad's Dell Latitude D630 with dual batteries and Windows XP gets just over 9 hours on a full charge.

Id say 2.5-3 hours on a 56wh battery. My brightness is in the middle usally. If its dark ill turn it down.

Yeah, laptops are nice and convenient but I wouldn't find them practical for my use. Many argue that 2-3 hours is plenty, but it seems like it would be more of a hassle for me than anything to keep charging it.

My laptop would last at least 5 hrs depending on its usage. But playing games on it decreases its life span

Those who posted 1.5 hours think YOUR bad?? My dad's laptop, honetly, no leing here, gets after full charge with web browsing (no videos, not too many pics) mebbe 40-50 min. I am not kidding! its horrible! The laptop I used to have got 1 1/2 hours video gaming the highest graphics the laptop could handle!!!!!! Now, my brothers gets about the same, gaming, so i would say about 3 hrs web browsing. My dads 50min web browser is a dell latitude, and my brothers 1 1/2 gamer(old games. I say gamer cuz its play games at max it can handle) is a Compaq N800C. the one i had was the N800V. One step newer
