how long is battery on netbook?

I've got the Acer Aspire One and it lasts around the margin of 3 hours depending on which power scheme I set. It's all dependant on the battery, mine has a 3 cell battery but netbooks with a 5 or 6 cell battery will last around 5 or 6 hours.

Exactly. The OP's question is as vague as "how long will a laptop battery last?"

It depends on the size screen, if it's a SSD HD, the processor, etc. Generally though a 3-Cell battery will last ~2-3 hours, and a 6-Cell battery will last 5-6 hours.
