How long till

How long do you think it will be until games are indistinguisable from real life? I think maybe 3 generations until they are incredibly detailed, ie individual hairs, full weather, everything affects everything (wind, air pressure, temperature to bullets, etc), but it just won't seem right. We will notice something, but we won't know what it is. But 2 generations later, I think it will be perfected.

Not anytime soon, and until they come out with virtual reality where you actually think your in a game, you cant think that its real by looking at a monitor.

yeah i give iy 3. i dont think its came as far sa it wuld have done now. ive expected more but it'll be a mad day and its the nearish future. well if 3 generations is?

I'm assuming you mean when video games (i.e. Madden) look indistinguishable from real television broadcasts (an actual football game). I'm hoping three gens from now, at least for consoles.
