Well... how much would a good dual core AMD(and dual pci-e) mobo cost me? I'm trying to get the best stuff i can because this computer is gonna have to least me for a while...

i got one, it WAS great. great at multi tasking and great for gaming, just wait for games that can use the x2 processor then they'll even be faster
 
How long do you estimate will it take for more than &70% of PC games to be able to utilize dual core CPU's?
 
Or do most of the games already utilize Pentium D's and X2?

i really dont think it will be long, but no one can say for sure.
just think of how far games have come in the last year or so.
 
Very true. Games run blazing fast with just one CPU and one GPU. I also hear that they are beggining R&D for dual core GPU's!! they have some for sale on www.newegg.com but I don't know if that will be the next video card hit.
