How many are going Nehalem?

Title says it all. How many of you are going to do a Nehalem build? I was planning on doing a 790i ultra sli with ddr3 all this year anyway, so I figure why not spend a little extra on something even more superior. Who's with me?!

We are going to be starting demo build very soon..

I'll be using it...my current rig is getting old...lol
 
that depends on how much money i make over the christmas break. it should be around $1200, but i'll need it in other places so likely next summer if i decide to at all.

That's awesome. Do you have a component list already? I'm very excited to see benchmarks and hear some conclusions. I personally can't wait to start a Nehalem build from scratch.
 
well I'm gonna wait at least until mid-2009, my current comp does everything I need it to for the moment.
 
I'm waiting, I don't find the need to buy new stuff constantly when my current stuff runs everything just fine. I'll wait about 6 months or so.

We have only received the P6T-Deluxe asus mobo and a 900 i7 cpu..my partner is working on it and we just started to get these parts last week.
 
as far as i know core i7 is nehalem, and the standard is ddr3, i might get it, sounds like they may not clock so well, so i might either get a qx9650 or an e8600
 
I think I'm going to wait till early 09 to do mine, but I definitely think Nehalem is the way to go now that they have sorted out the SLI thing with Nvidia.
