How many of ya's would watch a computer movie

lol superbad is 100% about going to a party, buying alcohol, and hooking up... none of which are geek related. i think he's talking more of movies like eXistenZ, hackers, etc.

But the 3 main characters are so uncool. But yeh, i think that is what he meant... in answer, no i wouldn't watch it.

Depends on what your definition of a geek or computer movie is in terms of proper production films. Although usually if the storyline is quite strong then yes I'll watch it. And if you mean in terms of tutorials / help, then if it is helpful to me I will most certainly watch it however if it's in relation to something that is of no use to me then no, I wouldn't watch it.

Rove.

Well I'm sure he was thinking on such hacker movies, and especially that one film Hackers, I watched it and it's great. That kind of movies was then like any other actio movie, though with different storyline, since I haven't really heard of a computer when I watched it for the first time.
That movie, well isn't really...helpful and it's no use for you, but it's a geek movie and lol, actually I remember that funny scene...when they guy programmed the fire alarm to activate exactly at 9:00 ( using his computer of course ) and he brought an umbrella haha, he looked at his watch, oops it's time, he opens his umbrella and enjoy while the school is beeing evacuated...I laughed so damn hard lol...

Oh, P.S. I'm not really sure is that from Hackers, but if not it looks like I like geek movies hehe

I saw Hackers with Angelina Jolie and Jonny Lee Miller. I liked it, though it's very unrealistic.

I also saw Netforce with Scott Bakula. It was okay, but one of the poor, cheaply "made for TV" movies.

I am waiting on Pirates of Silicon Valley to come from Blockbuster Online, and I'm also looking to see the Sandra Bullock net hacker/stalker movie.
