How many processes at startup?

I use an application called WindowBlinds (version 5 allows transparency) along with the VistaXP theme by a guy called Kol. Microsoft actually made sure the file wasn't distributed due to copyright issues, or something. If you want it, email me, and I'll zip it up for you. Anyway, I think you should discuss this on the "Post Your Desktop Up" thread, since this isn't exactly on-topic, is it?

61 on startup. i thought that was kind of high, but boot up time is pretty quick. if i manually get rid of unneeded ones, i can get it down to 34 or 32 (can't remember). it doesn't bother me, or lag my computer at all, since most of the time they're at zero cpu usage, so i let them be.
 
press all at same time your

CTRL

ALT

DELETE

keys

click the tab Performance and under totals you will see Processes, or you can click the processes tab and manually count them.
 
Or CTRL+ALT+DEL > T

If you dont have the welcome screen, you need to press T or click on Task Manager to bring it up.

I have around 30-34 on startup.
