How many times can Windows 8 be activated?

How many times can Windows 8 be activated? My HDD died and I ll to buy a new one. will I be able to activate it again?

Can I activate it after January 31?
 
You can activate as many times as needed as long as its on the original system you activated it on.

You shouldn't have any problems activating it. If the automated system tells you that the copy of Windows you are installing has already been activated you will need to choose the "Activate by Phone" option, call it in and go through the procedure. When it asks you "How many computers is this copy of Windows installed on" you will tell it 1 (ONE) and it will verify and give you a code to re-activate the software.

In short, don't fret.
