how much cache is too much? [4200x2]

yup
i want the 4200 xs manchester with x2 512 l2 cache

is that too much? cause i heard that tooo much l2 cache slowers you down
and not enough is bad.
but since this is a duely, it would be 512 per processor kind of right?

That would definetly be enough, A64's have never been very cache dependent.

AMD seems to think they are. they release differently rated processors that have the same clockspeed but different amounts of cache. on die cache is very beneficial to performance in situations like gaming

intel p4 have far more cache then amd cpus because it has a longer and far bigger pipe line and because of that it need cache incase it messes up while going threw the pipe line and it aids it so it dosent need to start again
