Before posting, this poll is for IT-related jobs only, so if you don't work in the IT field then please don't vote in the poll. I did not create a public poll to keep everyone's votes private, I would just like to see what people are making that are in the IT field. If you want to announce it publicly in a post then be my guest!

For me, I was part of a non-paid internship with a local school district as a requirement to get my degree (I chose the school because it's where I attended middle/high school, and thought it would be cool anyways to see all my old teachers again). After completing my internship I was offered a position for supporting the computer systems and users for both the elementary schools in the town, which I gladly took (if anything it's great experience!). They offered me $30,000, and then an increased salary once I get my degree (since I'm still in college now). I really enjoy the work so I'm hoping to get a few years of experience here, then see what I can move on to.

EDIT: Please only vote if your job is salary based, if you simply fix computers for $20 an hour for instance, then please don't vote.

At the moment, less than $20,000, i only get $10 a week :P

But i get a good / part time job end of this year :D

^^ LOL I guess he didnt see the "IT only" part. I guess he gets paid $10 a week for allowence. LOL

I work for an "IT" company so I figured I'd go ahead and post. I get $50 for each computer I fix from the office and I'd say in the last 9 months I've been working there I've made...I don't know really, but a lot less than $20,000 :P My last check was for $150, maybe 4 hours work, lol. :D

I should have rephrased the question, this is for salary jobs. I would of preferred people not vote who for instance fix computers on occasion, because that job is sporadic.

That's a nice beginning salary. Good luck man. :)

Thanks, maybe one day I'll catch up to you, assuming you voted for $100K + :P

No, no. I don't work in IT. In fact, I haven't had a job in two years. :P
