How much is my computer worth?

Specs: Windows xp home edition sp3. Intel Pentium 4 2.80ghz 2.79ghz, 756 ram, Nividia GeForce 6200 256 MB. dell dimension 3000, hard drive 150gb

how much do you guys think it worth? i bought for 300 and dumped a lot into it?
 
LOL, i didnt know P4's are lightning Speed xD

But yah, i wouldn't think you would get more than a 100 on that computer, im sure you could sell it on craigslist for 90$. :)

How long ago did you buy it?

I just replaced an old PC around that vintage - and my MOBO didn't have a PCI express slot in it. Kindof limits your options - and the DDR RAM Memory is becoming rediculosly expensive b/c nobody is hardly using it anymore. Unfortunately your 256 size is what people are upgrading from - not to.
 
Lol I bet you'd get more for it if you sold the parts individually... As the demand for a slow computer like that wont be high... But people might be looking for older parts to replace dead ones in their older machines...
 
Yeah true... lol. Still dont know about the US, but here in NZ theres a market for old ram and the likes as you cant really buy it anymore..
 
i bought a new 500 watt power supply upgraded from 28 gb memory to 150 and upgraded from 64 mb graphics. oh and also a new cd burning drive

Well you can take the PSU and Hard drive - and CD Drive witcha for your new build and scrap the rest :good:

Well, not sure what part of the world your at... but if you use terms like 'lightning quick" and "500W Power Supply" you may get $200 or so outta it on craigslist, even though its only worth ~$75-100. Ive seen a Pentium III 633mhz go for $100 on craigslist a few months ago...
