How much is my computer worth?

Last year I won an iBuyPower gaming desktop in an online giveaway. I enjoyed it for awhile but have decided to sell it. The parts value according to the paper they sent with it says $1299. So as far as the parts go I have a good estimate of how much I should try to sell it for. But one thing about this computer is it came with iBuyPower's limited edition 10th anniversary case. From what I understand, they sold these for a year and then now only give them away sometimes in giveaways and contests. I don't know what someone would be willing to pay for this computer considering the case. I don't know if the case makes it anymore valuable or worth more than its part values. I would just like some opinions on what you think this computer would sell for. Below are the specs and pics.

iBuyPower Chimera 2

Chimera 2 iBP 10th Anniversary Edition Case
Windows 7 Home Premium
Intel Core i7 CPU K 875 @ 2.93GHz
Standard Liquid Cool System for processor
GIGABYTE GA-P55-USB3 Mother Board
Corsair Dominator 4GB memory
Corsair TX 850w Power Supply
Hitachi 1 Terabyte Hard Drive
CD / DvD Read and Write drive (not sure of name brand)
nVidia GeForce GTX 460 graphics card (Palit)

I've used the computer for about 15 months so the power supply has about 4,800 hours on it.

Not a bad computer but it's not worth a ton, i'd try for maybe 700 or 800 i guess but doubt you'll get that.

Thanks everyone for the replies. I am a bit saddened at what the opinions of its value is. I know the parts inside have lost value, but as for the case I don't know what someone would be willing to pay for it. I've tried searching for this case / computer for sale online for months and have never seen one for sale. I have seen a lot of "I wish I had that computer" posts online though. :)

Well, here's the case, kinda. Yours = no window so it's proly the older version of this linked one. Proly the reason it was iBuyPower "limited". That and the paint job.

Unless you don't like the case, just sell the mb/cpu/and gpu if you want a single bigger one, and update those.

Yes, the case is a Lexa S with a custom side where the original window side used to be. It was custom painted by iBuyPower. They sold these for a year if I remember correctly during their 10th year anniversary year. Now, they sometimes give them away in giveaways and contests. I won this in a giveaway from iBuyPower last year. I don't know how much this is worth to others. I do know it is limited edition and you can't just order these when you want. In fact, I tried searching for Chimera 2 computers for sale online for several months and never saw anyone selling them.

I am looking to buy an ultrabook to replace this desktop. I've been using desktops for 10 years and I no longer play online games so I figure it is time to upgrade to something new.

dam :( very keen on this

I was thinking of putting it on Ebay but before I did I wanted to get opinions on its value. I was hoping to see higher numbers given the parts value of the system when I received it was $1299.

dota2, how much is this system worth to you? I know until I reach 100 posts we can't even begin to make a deal but we can talk about its value until then.

he will require 100 posts too, and as far as i know you can post a link to it on ebay, i see no reason why that would be bad.

i reckon its not worth more than 500$, and im offering a good 400$. im not sure if i will need to pay for shipping because right now i have no exact knowledge of your location.

i'm pretty sure on ebay you can get more than the 500 the other guy said, most people with see the i7, nice looking case, and big psu then the gtx460 and think it's a great gamer, i've gotten offered 510 for this computer i'm on now (need a bit more, trying to proffit and on ebay cuz of their fess i need 550 bare min) so that should be worth a 100 at least, prob 200 more.

$400 absolute minimum. You defiantly wouldn't want any less than that. But who knows, If it's case is also pretty rare you might be able to sell it for $800 :P.

You should have built one, would have kept its value more, and it would not have been as big of a loss, as it's cheaper. But, $600 I think would be reasonable.
