How much is my Laptop worth?

It's a Compaq NX9500.

Well I've had this computer for a very long time, got it shortly after they were released. Its been faithful and a great desktop replacement. Used it for gaming and media. It still works and is in GREAT condition! However now I need something extremely portable for school; I'm no longer in need of something big and fast.

There is some worn spots on the speaker mesh and the 'warning' stick is wearing off (from my palms). Key board works wonderfully (full size) as does the touch pad. All Ports work. Only problem so far is that the battery is losing its charge, and only gets <1:30 min out of a charge. New batteries are easy to find and are relativity cheap. Also the headphone jack is not as tight as it use to be. Nothing big there, jacks still stay in nicely, just normal wear and tear.

How much should I sell this for??

Is that a laptop with a Pentium M processor?

I would say maybe $150 if you are lucky.

Yep Pentium 4 - M.

Really? I just saw one sell on Ebay for $150 WITHOUT any of the hard drive components.

I was hoping I could sell it for little more then that... Disappointing.

I wouldn't pay a dime over $150 for that. I sold mine, which was almost the same model, business class HP with a Pentium M in it for $300 and that was two years ago.

Mine was in mint condition, 12" model with an external DVDRW drive, like 6+ hours of battery life, ABGN wireless, bluetooth and not a single scratch on it. All original software and everything.

Wow, well this is no good. My plan was to sell this computer in order to buy a Netbook for school. Now this has messed everything up. . . .

Technology is a very bad investment the second you buy it, the value goes down. That is just the way it is, post the full specs for me would you?

Those specs are a bit newer than when I sold mine, you could maybe get $200 out of it, if it is in really great condition. I baby all my electronics so when I sell them they are in like new condition.

well you can put it on ebay there are tons of idiots on there that may pay your price. I see stuff used on ebay that sells for more than you can buy it brand new, that is because I think people get caught up in the bidding war.
