I'm not selling anything over this site or the Internet, however, I am not good at pricing and I would like to hear from you guys to see how much these machines I am trying to get rid of are worth until I send my classified ad into the newspaper.

Machine #1: Gateway, P4, 1GHz, Ubuntu 7.01 (Gutsy Gibbon)
formerly had Win XP, 512MB RAM, DVDRW, 80GB HDD...

...How much is it worth?

Machine #2: eMachines, P3 750GHz, Ubuntu 7.01 (Gutsy Gibbon)
320MB RAM, DVD ROM, CD-RW, 40GB HDD...

...How much is it worth?

Honestly the first machine is only worth about $50-$100, depending on where you sell it. If it's local then you may be able to make some money, but if your shipping it then the shipping charge would be very close to the value of the PC itself.

As for the second machine, I'd say around $40-$60.

Machine #1 maybe $175 tops and Machine #2 maybe $125 if your lucky!
I doubt it, if it included Windows XP then it may be worth that much, but you can buy all those parts for under $100.

They are great, quick machines, and I have both of them configured to look a bit like Vista so people who want the look have it. Some of the programs included are the OpenOffice suite, the GIMP image manipulation program, an audio CD burning application, video player, music player, system utilities,
Firefox browser, accessories (calculator, dictionary, etc...), Evolution e-mail application, enhanced hardware support (even supports my flash drive that the company said would never work with Linux) and lots more. Those are the major features.

I can't show you how it looks because you need a URL and you can't use an address pointing to your storage devices...

You need to upload them to an online photo hosting site, such as www.photobucket.com

We can't see the photos that are stored locally on your machine.

Yes, it encludes the monitor/keyboard/mouse. Monitor is CRT, I'm not selling my good LCD screens with it.

Then the prices I said are about right!! Dont expect the prices to bo up alot just b/c of the monitors b/c CRT's are ancient and not very many people want them. You have to price those pc's on what the demand is and not what they are like or what they are worth!!
