my friend has 2 gigs of ram and 12 gigs of pagefile on 3 different partitions (winxp). he says the more pagefile the better, because information written to the pagefile doesn't go away until it is overwritten. i've also heard you should have 1.5 times more pagefile than ram but i've never heard that any more is useless.
how much pagefile is too much?
