Well i got a 450watt power supply that came with my computer case. I got my amd 4800+ x2 today and I think im going to buy the 7900gt geforce... 2gigs of ram. So would i have to upgrade to a better power supply or what a 450 be fine to run my computer? All my other power will go to harddrives cd roms and a million fans lol.

yea alright, ill probably get one of those, but maybe one of those cool ones with lights in them lol.
Those are normally cheap crappy ones. Buy a good quality power supply from a company like antec, or seasonic.

definetaly from antec, you wouldn't want the seasonic, my uncle has one and it surges like a m.f.

Just get the one that Monkeysims linked or the one i linked. Don't listen to those other guys, they're just trying to confuse everyone including themselves, :P.

Well, if it's a quality case (unlikely, since you haven't specified it), it could very well have a decent PSU (Antec Sonata II, for example, includes a quality SPII-450).

If you open up the case, and take a look at the details on the sticker of the PSU it will give us some more info. Note in particular the voltage on the +12V rail. The TPII-550 wouldn't be bad, although the Hirpo might be a little underpowered (The XClio 450BL is well worth the extra few dollars). It all depends on your budget. Take a look at PSU101 for some more recommendations.

Well ya cause antec makes quality psu's. A psu is something you don't want to cheap out on, because if it doesn't work right, kiss your whole system goodbye. As for most cases that include a power supply they are cheap, and most of them even if it is a nice case, the company still makes crap psu's. Like Aspire cases are pretty nices but for the most part the psu's are crap.

Most high quliity cases that come with PSU's are fairly decent, but if your not getting a tim of the line case then dont count on it.

Still better off getting a good case with no psu and buying another one, because you can get a psu that fits your needs.
