450 at minimum and 500 for some headroom. It must be from a dependable brand and have at least 26 amps on the 12 volt rail.

On a power supply you have 3 voltage rails.

a 12 volt rail
a 5 volt rail
and a 3.3 volt rail.

The 12volt rail is main concern as it runs most of the pc.

If you look at the link below it gives you a list of what wattage is required by video cards.

The corsair unit you linked to is good but I would actually get this 500 watt corsair unit in case you ever want to upgrade a little.

That power supply calculator is useless imo.

The Corsair john linked too would be perfect,I have the 600W version of this powering my system effortless.

In my main system I have (according SpeedFan)

+3,3V..........3,26-3,28V
+12V...........12,22V
+5V.............5V

In my htpc I have

+3,3V..........3,18-3,31V
+12V..........12,67V
+5V............5,13V

Are there numbers good?
PSU is same in both cases!
How do I know the amps?

This link looks like crazy. Ati 5450 is TDP 19W. But says that needs a 300W psu. 300W for a 19W device? What about the rest of the system?

There won't be any upgrade in this old system. AM2 socket is dead.

Why is useless? Are all these online counters useless or that one only?

Well, my system has Athlon64 x2 5600+ which is TDP 90W and Geforce 9600GT 512MB which is TDP 95W.
Rest is not important amount(hdd, dvd, ram, usb, fans).
There wont be any o/c.
So, are you sure I need 500W?
If yes, I wonder all those psu's <400W for which systems are for?

I did not say that?,You've got confused with your quotes.

I think what john meant,If you decide to switch out mobo/cpu or GPU in the future you would at least have a decent starting point...better to have bigger PSU than you need than not have a strong enough one. :)

This sysyem wont be changed in the future and wont be o/c.
So I m asking only for these devices.

That's what I have in my recently built system. This PSU have plenty of amps in the 12v rail so it's good.

The PSU only make 12 volts, the 3.3v and the 5v comes off the 12v rail so amps is important.

Ok, I ll get it:)

Now can u tell me about the psu's values(3.3,5,12)?
Must be less, equal or more?
