how much security do you run ?

Personal PC? PC stands for Personal computer, so the Personal PC is probably a mistake.
Security? I have Nod32 Anti virus and Windows Firewall, and Spybot and Adaware ready when I need them.
 
Router firewall, Windows Firewall, Defender, Avast Pro, Tuneup Utilities, Spyware Doctor, and run hijackthis every once in a while. Together, my pc stays fairly clean. I run a full scan with both Avast Pro and Spyware Doctor about 1 per week. I also use process explorer to check running processes.
