Hello and thanks for reading. I have a question that I would like answered by those who know what they are talking about (that most likely means you if you have built a computer
).
I noticed on ebay that the custom build computers for sale there usually "cut corners". They give you an awesome CPU GRAPHICS CARD etc etc... Though they usually lack good airflow good PSU and even motherboard sometimes.
So the question I have is how much would you pay for a pc custom built (lets say you did not know how to build one for example and you wanted to purchase one). That does not cut corners, made with well rated parts, and has all drivers installed with no tedious tuning on you (the customers) part? Not to mention windows vista home premium 64bit and a few free games with it like a new FPS (BIOSHOCK) and another game that is of good quality.
So shout out the price point to me if you will on a pc based on these parts. Here they are!
Disk Drive: LG 18X DVD±R DVD Burner.
Case: SLI Certified Cooler Master mid tower black case. With three 120mm fans one blue lighted, with excellent airflow and roomy case. As well another extra 120mm blue lighted fan for even more airflow.
Hard Drive: x1 Western Digital caviar SE16 500gb hard drive, 16mb cache.
Graphics Card: EVGA GeForce 8800 gts 320 mb PCI Express.
Power Supply: Cooler Master sli certified 550w with 120mm blue lighted silent fan and power consumption display included so you know how much you are using.
Memory (RAM): Pqi Turbo 4gb (4x1gb) DDR2 800, with heat spreaders.
Motherboard: EVGA LGA 775 with true 16x 16x sli capabilities. Supporting FSB up to 1333 or 1066. Up to 8gb ram with memory up to 1200 or 800. 2 Pci express 16x, 2 Pci express 1x, and 2 Pci slots, with an added 1 Pci express expansion slot. GREAT overclocking with cpu that comes with this pc.
CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E6750 FSB 1333, L1 cache 32KB + 32 KB, and L2 cache 4m shared.
Operating System: Microsoft Windows Vista 64-Bit Home Premium.
Heatsink for Cpu: ARCTIC COOLING Freezer 7 Pro 92mm CPU Cooler.
So there it is, like I said if you were to buy something brand new like that custom built how much would you pay overall? This includes the two bonus games and all updates installed.
No corners cut, all items have great reviews and will make a great gaming pc easily. Motherboard has great room for expansion if you wanted to get another graphics card for SLI in the future.
All in all nice power running through it that helps the system and nice cooling with a great gaming overclocking motherboard that has high reviews for just that.
So if you will price points on how much you would pay or think someone else would pay for a custom built pc like that with everything built well and all updates/drivers intact? Thanks for your time.
