Windows is so unstable isn’t it :)

And if you have a real problem Microsoft is going to be the last one to help you fix it.

Ya, ever since Ive gotten my machine it has never crashed. The only problem with micro$oft imo is they are way pricey.

(Btw thats 6 months.)

I have never had a system crash where ihad to do a cold shut-dlown, at least on my computer, I had to soo many times on that dam MAC, and they say they are stable. The oens at both of my schools weren't.

it hardly crashes, not like win 98 or me which crashes everyday at least 3 times.

i dont remember how much was xp at launch but the last time i checked it was around 500 dollars for their office 2003 LOL :)

My grandpa is 81 years old he’s never had a personal PC, BUT HE READS A LOT, he’s up to date my ma and pa don't know squat about computers and ex... , I tell hem that I need more RAM coz XP is running slow, he says "you know RAM stands for Random access memory" he knows it all Linux, Micro$oft, Apple. he made fun of me when I had never herd of [Sun micro systems] when I showed him my iPod he said "I'm glad you brought this over I’ve been wanting to see one of these for a long time, he is thinking about getting a laptop, if I say I looked something up on GOOGLE he says " yes google is the best "

Not bad for 81 is it :D

MS Windows XP is rock solid.

tomorrows is my computer's 1st birthday, and ive had to do a manual shutdown twice in its lifetime, and one time was because i forgot to hookup the mouse and keyboard, lol.

My view

The only time I had to brutally shut down with my new PC is when I overclocked my graphics card too far and got a BSOD. The other instance was when I oc'd my processor to much and also got a BSOD. However, when talking about the Windows OS, specifically XP, I have not yet had to do a cold shut down.

JAN:D
