How often does you windows baste system crash\you have to do a cold shut down

i've not had experience in dropping an ipod, but i have however dropped my zen, i have a loft bed and a very high ceiling. Thats all i need to say, i thought it would be dead after falling 12ft and smashing onto the laminate floor via the window-sill. LOL, all that happened was it turned off, there is a slight (very slight) chip/scratch in the anodized steel backplate.

*EDIT* Im not a microsoft fanboy but i really hate MAC and LINUX, although i hate MAC more than LINUX, i also hate anything to do with APPLE, IPOD's MAC's, ITUNES....
 
LOL, i would like to see that test. But not with my one, test it with yours....yes??

The only thing that the ZEN is lacking is games, IPODS have them. But then youre defeating the object of an MP3 player, it plays mp3's not games. Kinda makes you think that the IPOD has to make up for somethign that its lacking by putting games on it.

jesus man, mines like 10000 times smaller than that, like not noticable even if you took a pic up close like that. you only know its there cos i know i dropped it, no one else has any clue that its there, yours is proper mangled
 
I have to manually shut down my computer about once a month, if even. Before I got 512 megs of RAM, however (back in the days when I was stuck with 96 megs of RAM) I had to shut down manually about twice a week, if not more. W98SE is a fairly solid OS, but the RAM management leaves quite a bit to be desired.
 
well you need a ECDl, Europien COmputing Driver Licence so u dont crash the comp, lol (this is a real grade .. my ma has it)

i hate it when my cousin's bf, a mac fan, says that windows crashes every other time. My computer hasn't crashed one single time yet.

One day you need to go into his hosue when hes not home, open us that mac, take everything out replace al hardware and then install windows :P


But make sure to keep the Mac case and use it :D
