How often to build?

i just built a computer and im totally addicted, how often should i have fun spend some money and build a new one, my first build put me in the 600.00 range. im thinking once a year?
 
That will depend on your resources overall along iwth the actual need. Most want to get into a system that will last a few years(2-4yrs.) until there is a need to upgrade. I use one primary for under two years top while putting others cases together on a periodic basis when someone else needs a new build. If you want all the latest "bells and whistles" when they first come out you will be paying away your life savings there fast enough.
 
I just built one last night out of an old hp and old dell for fun. it works.

as for current systems it isn't really necassary to build a new one or upgrade until you could get something better than your currrent one.
 
i'd say as often as you can afford, if you don't have enouch cashto build a new pc regularly then howabout getting a few old ones of ebay, taking them apart then putting them back together to make a far better old PC, or you could do this with laptops, there are loads of "broken" laptops on ebay that probably just need sopmething like a new hard drive or power supply, and have fun building, i've been wanting to build another PC since i did mine at christmas, i was hoping to do one for family but now my uncles has broke he is getting someone else to build him one :mad: , but i am hoping to get his "broken" pc to get the decent parts out of
