How screwed am I?

Okay, I was going to set up eyefinity. Bought my 2 new monitors. Plug them in, and the DVI on the right side of my card won't display.....the monitor gets detected and tells me what kind it is. but nothing comes up I am pretty upset right now.

yeah, I think i did everything right. Can a DVI detect a display but still be broken and not display it?

Well, I have just switched out my 5970 with my bros 5870 and the displays worked mine is broken...

Does it matter that i took it apart and put on a waterblock? I have never had to do this before so I don't really know what I am doing.

put the regular heatsink back on, and DO NOT mention that you ever put a waterblock on it, as that would void your warranty. i've never had to rma(thank god) but there are some peeps on here who are pretty much experts at it, just wait for them to post
