I would like to use external webcam on my laptop instead of the internal one. This is how I do it.
1. I disable the internal webcam.
2. Connect the external webcam to my laptop/
3. I make sure that my laptop has detected the external webcam.
4. When I try to take a video clip I get a message which says " Eror ?
My laptop is : Acer Aspire. The WebCam is a Logitech wit a USB cable.
